This was a little Christian band that I was into when I was stationed in Virginia. Obscure, just like I like it.
Catholics and Orthodox have a stronger view of Mary than is expressed in this song. As much as we love her and for all that God created her to be, I can lose track of the fact that she was still a girl. Really a child by today's standards, asked to bear an enormous weight with real risk and consequence.
This song reminds me of her humanity.

Growing up in the 90's skateboarding behind the church we listened to this.
